Practically Spiritual
This message series is something called “Practically Spiritual”.
Why are we doing this?
It’s because nothing could be more practical than “spiritual” things.
A lot of us can tend to lump things we think are “practical” into one side of our lives, and then lump the things we think are “spiritual” on the other, and it can become rare that the two meet.
Fortunately, the Bible expresses no such divide, but rather calls us to live lives of deep, Christ-centered spirituality that expresses itself in visible and practical ways.
Concepts like vision, prayer, faith, breakthrough and hearing God’s voice may seem “spiritual”, but in reality, when we take even a superficial look at God’s people in the Bible, these were things they committed themselves to and regularly experienced- and changed the world around them.
This series and month will be full of strong encouragement and inspiration to pursue Jesus more, experience Him more, and, as Paul put it, “to press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus has taken hold of me.”
