Today we continue our new series called A Prayer For...where we will be taking a look at the book of Psalms to learn not just what to pray, but how to pray. We see all through the Psalms a rawness, an authenticity, and a passionate love for God's presence and God's heart regarding the brokenness of the world around us. Over the next 6 weeks we will journey together as we focus on developing a life of prayer and seeking God's Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven....

If the Lord’s Prayer from the lips of Jesus tells us what to pray, the book of Psalms shows us how to pray. Look at the Psalms: almost every imaginable moment of human existence is recorded in one or more of the 150 Psalms: There’s a prayer for the morning, a prayer for the evening....

This week we celebrate our Back to School service. We know students, teachers, and faculty are experiencing something they have never had to deal with before in starting back to school. Then again, we are all having to process through experiences that are unprecedented in our day. With these moments come pressure, stress, frustration, anger, and just mental and emotional fatigue. How can we make it through? We can make it through only by remembering who God is and what God has done....

Today we conclude our "One Another" series.  We will be looking at one last way the Scriptures call us to "one another" one another. In the midst of all the "death" and loss and brokenness going on in our world today we can all find ourselves in a place of despair and hopelessness. Today we will look at what the Bible has to say about the way we can encourage one another in the midst of all that is going on. Should we just throw in the towel and hold on tight until Jesus returns? Or, is there something else Jesus has called us to be and do in the midst of all this death and brokenness?...

Today we continue our new series that, in light of all that is going on in our world today, couldn't have come at a better time. We will be looking at some of the different commands in Scripture that call us to "one another" one another. Serve one another, encourage one another, sharpen one another, seek to outdo one another in showing honor, and above all, love one another, are just a few of the things Jesus and the New Testament writers command us to do in our dealings with one another. Of course those things are easier said than done, but why is that? In this series we will be asking some tough questions and seeking the Gospel-centered solutions in how we can best "one another" one another....

I think it's safe to say 2020 has not turned out the way we all anticipated 8 months ago. This has been the craziest, most unpredictable season I've ever experienced as a pastor. In the midst of a global health pandemic we also have a national race pandemic going on. Information changes constantly. The news cycle just continues to give us a new reason to lose hope on a daily basis. Tensions are high and moral is low. But, one thing remains stable, steadfast, and true...the call of the Gospel. The call to trust that God brings life out of death. The call to respond to others in love rather than reacting in fear. The call to make disciples. But, what does that look like in the context of our Mosaic Community Groups? That is what we cover in this community group leader training. ...

Today we continue our series titled We Were Made For This. We will be studying through the book of James. James was the brother of Jesus who came to be one of His most devoted disciples and the leader of the church in Jerusalem. What would inspire a man to worship his own brother as God and follow Him to his own death? The same thing that can inspire us to follow Jesus with that same fervency. What was that? What did James come to realize? Let's find out together as we take a look at what God has made us for....

This week we continue on through the Gospel of Mark as we are in the next part of a three part series looking at Jesus: The God Who Heals. We will be taking at look at Mark's claims regarding the life of Jesus and how this Jesus of Nazareth not only changes lives, but has changed history itself. Today's discussion is going to be a bit of a testimony session as we discuss when, how and why our faith journey began and how, if you're a Christian, following Jesus has impacted your life....

This week we join hundreds of other Every Nation churches around the world as we continue our Amazing Grace series. We will be looking at how God's grace saves us, changes us, and carries us through even the most difficult of circumstances. "Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost, but now I'm found. Was blind, but now I see." Let's find out what we just might see in Him, ourselves, and in one another as we look at God's amazing grace....

Today we continue our series titled When Richie Met Gracie. We will be taking a look at what happens when our money and resources come into a relationship with the love and grace of Jesus. How might the way we view, manage, and spend our money impact both our relationship with Jesus, as well as the way the world around us experiences the grace of God? Let's find out as we dive into this love story of financial proportions....

Our dear friend, Pastor Jim Laffoon, was with us this past Sunday talking about Building on a Fault Line. In our discussion today we will talk about how and why relationships and church community can be so difficult, but how Jesus and His gospel both free us and empower us to love one another with the love of Christ and put the gospel on display for the world to see....

Having walked through 6 difficult and culture-shaping topics together and talking about how God might be calling us to play our part in bringing healing into those broken places of our world, we now want to look back at the previous two months and ask ourselves...so, now what? What have we learned together? And, what is it going to take for us to continue playing our part as we move forward, together, into the purposes of God for our lives and our city?...

They are precious in His sight, the old song goes. That's easy to see, but harder to live and feel. If anything, Mosaic Church exists to proclaim this single truth: God loves everyone, even if - and when - they don't love Him. And sometimes the best way to help someone's life to be transformed by that truth, and by a common Savior, is to show them you remember what we all have in common, along with that Savior - our common humanity....

Unfortunately, slavery hasn't gone away, it's just gone underground. The brutal facts are that more people exist in slavery in our point in history than ever before (over 40 million), and that young women and children are most often the ones at risk. What can be done, and how can we have hope? The Gospel is the only source that gives us both the framework to understand the root of the issue, and the courage to be the kind of people who do something about it. How? That's what we will discuss during our time together....

Red. Blue. Purple. My party. Your party. Their party. Whatever happened to the idea of "We the People?" Now, over the last 20 years, politics has become more, well, politicized, and voting tendencies, more than ever before, lean along racial and ethinic lines. How does a person of faith, and the church of Jesus, respond in our current political crisis? In today's discussion we are not going to debate which side of teh aisle is right, but rather how can our heart and relationships be right as we seek God's Kingdom above all else....

When Christians and Jews read Psalm 24:1, "The Earth is the Lord's, and everything in it", what does that mean? Why does God make a covenant with the earth itself in the book of Genesis? Why is nature itself depicted as praising God and why is there so much talk about animals and plants in "the new heavens and the new earth"? There's so much debate in political circles over how the planet is doing, and where its future is headed. Regardless of opinion or debate, what if the people of God took the call of God to be stewards of God's planet seriously? What might that look like, and what part might God be calling us to play in that call? That is what we will discuss with today's You Have A Part To Play topic....

Homeless people aren't just homeless, they are people, with lives and stories that are both heartbreaking and beautiful. But where does homliness come from? How does it affect both the city in which we live and all of us as a community? What can we do about it, and what might doing something about it do to us? In this discussion we will take a hard look at the issue of homlessness and the part God might be calling us to play in regards to it....

As we kick off this 8 week campaign it's important that we start off with the right context and mindset of what we mean when we say You Have A Part To Play. We live in a world that is broken. Things are not as God designed them to be. Our world exists in a constant state of pain, greed, abuse, selfishness, etc. But, the way things are is not how it always has to be. As followers of Christ we carry in us a force and a message that can, and will, bring healing and light into the broken and dark places. Watch our You Have A Part To Play trailer video to see what we mean....

This week we are looking at the generational nature of the Gospel. Inherant to the call of Jesus for us to make disciples is the presupposition that we are reaching, teaching and pouring into the youth of our culture. This past Sunday we heard from all our next generation ministries and the importance of teaching our young people the importance of "making some noise" in the midst of a culture that is always talking to them. What part to we have to play in this call, and how can we best accomplish it?...

This week we continue our new series titled And He Answered Me. We will be looking at the topic of prayer. Prayer is something we see all through Scripture, and yet it is something that many people who call themselves Christians do not practice on a regular basis. Could it be that we have misunderstood what prayer is and what God has intended it to accomplish in our lives? Let's find out as we discuss this together....

This week we conclude our new series The Gospel is for Everyone. There are many things in our world that look and feel like they are only for the select few, the wealthy, the powerful, the privileged. In a world that seems so unfair at times, we are going to take a look at something that knows no prejudice and shows no favoritism, and yet it is the most powerful thing the world has ever seen. We are going to take a look at the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news that is for everyone who believes....

This week we continue our series The Story of the Bible. Many of us may know some Bible stories, but we may not actually know the story of the Bible. Over the next couple of months, we will be walking through the overarching story of Scripture by looking at the 9 main acts of the story: Creation, Catastrophe, Calling, Covenant, Crown, Corruption, Captivity, Christ, Cross, Church, and Consummation. Our goal is to come away with a better understanding what the Bible, and history, are really all about, and the impact that has on our lives as a people....

We are continuing our new series entitled Great Faith. We will be joining thousands of Believers in nearly 60 different countries within our Every Nation Church Family in preaching, praying and fasting as we seek to discover what great faith is and why having faith even matters in the first place. That word, 'faith' can mean a lot of things to a lot of people based on upbringing, church experience, and personal struggles. But, what does the Bible mean when it uses the word faith? And why was Jesus continually amazed by either the presence or lack thereof, when it came to faith in people's lives? Let's find out together....

For centuries, Christians have referred to the Christmas season as Advent, a word that means the coming of, or the arrival. It is the Christian belief that what we celebrate during this time of year isn't just a thought or a feeling, or even just the exchanging of gifts, but that we celebrate the news that something has arrived, something new has come into our world. And, that new thing is, in fact, a Person who, having arrived, changes everything. Today we will continue to walk through the implications of Christ coming in the flesh to transform our lives and our world....

This week we continue our series titled The People of Mosaic. We will be talking about, and taking a look at, the collective impact we can make when we give big, serve joyfully, and love passionately as Jesus-people. What if we became a church that was known as much by our lavish generosity as we were by our Biblical theology? How might God use us to change our city, our state, our nation, and even our world? Let's talk about it and see what happens. ...

This week we conclude our For the Love series where we have been walking through the Gospel of John and seeing God's love as revealed through the life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Christ. We have seen how that love may not always look and feel the way we think it should, but that if we will allow God's love to reveal itself to us then our lives will never be the same. In this discussion, we will see how that love can impact our lives and relationships in a profound way....
