05 Nov Whole Kids, Whole Church, Whole Lot of FUN

“But Jesus called the children to Him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’” – Luke 18:16

If you have been around children for any length of time, you know there’s something truly beautiful in watching the way kids worship and engage with the gospel. God cares deeply about wholeness in the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual parts of their being. This is why we are excited to present our inaugural Mosaic KIDCON, taking place December 3 – 5.

KIDCON is a brand-new, conference-style event that immerses our kinder-5th grade kids in a weekend of Jesus that’s designed to supercharge and fuel them to live out their kingdom identity.

We believe that our children are valuable members of Mosaic right here, right now, and not just in a few years when they grow up. With our weekend format, we will be able to explore the gospel through our core values of worship, community, and mission with the most kids possible.

In light of all that our children have experienced in the last year and half, this winter’s KIDCON has been lovingly crafted to walk them through the ways God brings true wholeness, and that He is an infinite hope that can weather any storm. This powerful, biblical truth will be woven throughout an action-packed weekend of fun including:

The fun is NOT just for our kids, though! This is Mosaic KIDCON, and we want our children to see the whole of Mosaic Church rallying around to help support their spiritual growth and development. The weekend format also means that the WHOLE church can be involved: dads, parents who work, parents whose work is at home, singles, students, teens…EVERYBODY!

And in case you needed another reason to “raise a hallelujah,” KIDCON will be happening TWICE a year: winter AND summer! We hope that by hosting KIDCON two times a year, our parents who are already serving their kids day-in and day-out will be able to serve at one KIDCON and enjoy a well-deserved break for the other.

We relish this time together and look forward to serving our kids with you. Jesus himself said that we must become like little children to enter the kingdom of heaven. We have found that some of the greatest moments of ministry happen when adults share the experience with our kids. And, as a volunteer, you just may find that they minister just as deeply to you as you do to them. We thank you for giving your time to love and serve them well.
