17 Nov Update on Facility Ask

As you have likely heard, the elder team at Mosaic has put before the church a financial ask of $150,000 to construct a new youth space (in Building C across from our main facility), make adjustments to our mKids area, and to construct a new sport court as well.

If this sounds incredibly inexpensive to you, you would be correct, as we already have many of the major costs provided for: HVAC units, land, walls, roof and a zero-cost contractor!

As of this week, we are more than a third of the way toward our goal (we are wanting to have all our giving completed during the month of November), which is really encouraging!

At the same time, we have quite a ways to go, and I want to again emphasize that it is going to take everyone’s financial involvement to get us there, great and small.

Spread across our average adult attendance, the giving works out to about $200 per person, or $400 per couple. Some of us, again, may only be able to do less, and that’s ok! But, some of us are able to do more, and it is going to take us all to get there.
