13 Oct Teaching the Testament of Courage

With the changing of the seasons and school in full swing, we turn our attention to our next Mosaic Church KIDCON event coming up on December 1st-3rd. This conference-style event brings our elementary-age kids together for an engaging and impactful weekend of fun and Biblical truth.

The new school year also means a new theme, and we could not be more excited to begin KIDCON Power-Up: A Call to Courage. We will be exploring Old Testament stories of courage designed to empower our children in their understanding that God has been and will continue to write courageous stories in the lives of His people.

With inspiring (and oftentimes surprising) stories from God’s Word woven throughout the weekend, our kids will be fueled and encouraged to courageously pursue all that God has for them. We will also be bringing back our Saturday-only KINDER  CON event which features many of the same themes and activities in an environment that better meets the developmental needs of our 5-year-old and kindergarten learners.

Want to know something else really exciting? The incredible weekend of KIDCON is not just for our kids. We call it Mosaic Church KIDCON because we want the whole church to experience the joy and participate in the spiritual formation and growth of our children. The weekend format makes this event more accessible for people of every age and stage of life to partner with us in making KIDCON a meaningful experience. And for the little ones who aren’t old enough yet to participate in KIDCON? We have volunteer childcare available!

• Saturday morning parent breakout

The weekend concludes in our regular mKids classrooms (both North and South) with a special KIDCON-themed Sunday inviting the kids to step out courageously into ALL that God has for them.
