Quick Update and Special Request for this Sunday

I know you’ve already heard from Pastor Brett this week, but I wanted to bring something to your attention that some of you already know, and likely many of you are already aware of!

I’m going to describe a great problem that we have, and make a request of you at the end!

Here’s our challenge: Our second service is overfull. As in, more than 100%. Last week, we had to add chairs, which we would prefer not to do for a number of reasons. The issue has been growing for a few weeks, and last Sunday the tide came up over the ledge, so to speak.

When we began our third service back in February of this year, we had a relatively even split, but it appears some of those initial folks in third service have likely migrated to the second, plus the second has just grown a ton—again, for which I am extremely grateful and really encouraged by.

That being said, we are out of room for guests and visitors—and if they come and don’t find a seat, they will leave—as some already have.

Most likely to do with the time of the service, and quite probably because of relational circles in the church, that second service is just going to continue to grow—until it doesn’t, because we don’t have room.

With that in mind, especially if you are in the second service, would you consider making the third service, at 12:30 pm, yours? If you are already there, THANK YOU.

I know that not everyone can be there at that time (my family can’t always make it!), but I know that there are those who could give up their seat in the second service to make room for new people.

Again, if that’s not possible, that’s alright—I’m just glad you’re here and are a part of what God is doing at Mosaic.

And yet, in case you haven’t discovered by now, a church isn’t a static thing—it’s a living body and an organic thing and it needs change as time goes by, just like a human body.

Additionally, our third service, we have noticed, has a higher percentage of people with little to no church or faith background, and are hungry for help and relationship. By moving to the third service you really can make a difference at multiple levels at Mosaic.

If you’re willing to make the change, feel free to fill out the form below (it’s super easy) so we can know to be on the lookout for you at our third service. Even if you’re on the go and can’t fill it out, no worries…it’s not required in order to make the switch 🙂

Click here to fill out the form.

To summarize:

1. I am so glad you are here! Keep coming, no matter where you are.
2. We have a real and growing need.
3. Would you consider a change to meet that need, if it’s possible?

To help ease you in, we’ll be having a community lunch this week after that third service.

Thanks so much! I’ll see you this Sunday as we celebrate some water baptisms, receive communion together and continue on in our new series, called “The Journey”.
