18 Aug mKids Update! Promotion Sunday
WHAT’S HAPPENING
Hi Everyone! I hope you and your families are well! We have some exciting things coming up in mKids and because of that, our Monthly Emails will contain a lot of important information regarding our classes. Please take note of a few changes below.
PROMOTION SUNDAY: August 15th is our time to move up our mKids to their new grades! It is a day of celebrating the new school year. There will be a special gift and giveaways, as well as a photo booth! While registering, please make sure to place your elementary aged child in the grade they are in for the 2021-2022 school year.
mKids WORSHIP CENTER: Starting this week, mKids in 5K – 5th will be the mKids Worship Center (mKWC) for the beginning of the service. We are excited to have Ms. Amanda and Ms. Bria on stage for our first corporate worship gathering since March 2020.
*Parents, please note that students will remain on a rug with their classrooms and we will practice social distancing as much as possible to limit interacts with other classrooms.
mKIDS ONLINE PLAYLISTS : There are now two ways to participate in mKids from home. The first way is listed here the second is below.

PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM
Our current unit is, “In the Beginning”.
This lesson walks preschoolers through the fact that God is AMAZING! He made the sun in the sky, the animals, the whole world—they’re all His creations. But do you know what God’s most AMAZING creation is? It’s you and me! God made people to be like Him so we can trust and follow Jesus, and be His special friends!

In the Beginning
KINDERGARTEN – 2ND GRADE CURRICULUM
Our current lesson is, “Who’s the Church?”
The Church isn’t a building. The Church is people who follow Jesus—the Bible calls us the body of Christ. As part of God’s Church, God calls everyone our neighbors, tells us to love them as we love ourselves, and to show them how to follow Jesus. We have to love God with everything in us and love others the way we love ourselves to show everyone what God’s Church is all about!
3RD – 5TH GRADE CURRICULUM
Our current lesson is, “Ready for Anything”
For this three-week series, our 3rd – 5th grade students will learn all about character. What kind of character? Well, godly character, of course! And godly character gets us ready for anything. Character practice, honesty, and grit are part of what this 3 part series is about
