Across our lives, says C.S. Lewis, there are four key types of love we yearn for and must learn to express rightly.
There are, he says, four types of “relation-ships” to navigate:
- Kinship (storge)
- Friendship (philia)
- Fellowship (agape)
- Partnership (eros)
How can we successfully navigate what we need most?
Coming to the rescue of that question, our upcoming Mosaic Singles Conference aims to give some answers!
If you’re a single of any age and stage (we realize there are vast differences when it comes to these), we would like to invite you to attend, learn, connect and grow in your ability to steer your way through choppy waters and arrive safely at your destination.
Loosely based on C.S. Lewis’ classic treatise on relationships, The Four Loves, this conference is a great place to not only attend but to also bring a friend.
As always, we will have some encouraging speakers (Carrie and I will open the event Friday night), some great food and fun surprises.
I say to people all the time, if you want to know where the most fun at Mosaic can be found, it’s at this event! I love our singles and enjoy spending time with an amazing and talented group of people living for Jesus in a world that tries to tell them it’s just impossible to do.
The cost for this event is only $65 (a steal), and it will be October 11-12 (Friday night to 2 pm on Saturday afternoon). You can register here.
It’s easy to feel like you’re drowning in a sea of relational impossibilities, but it doesn’t have to be that way.
I hope you’ll join me in learning how to navigate those ‘ships and have a great time as we do.
See you there!
