23 Jul Mosaic’s Live Worship Recording

Hi everyone! In just a minute, I’m going to invite you to be a part of something really exciting that we will be doing for the first time ever at Mosaic Church.

But before I get there, let me set up what we’ll be doing like this:

As the worship director at Mosaic Church, one of my favorite things (maybe even my very favorite!) is to engage the heart of God through the creative arts along with you!

Alongside the Audio/Visual and Broadcast Teams, the primary pursuit of our Music Team each week is to create an atmosphere that helps people enter into the presence of God.

As we prepare each week, we pray and ask God to help us carefully select meaningful songs that will minister to and encourage you and everyone who is with us on a Sunday!

And while we love to sing anointed and encouraging songs that were birthed in other churches, something extremely special happens when a unique group of people (that’s us!) lift their own unique voice and their own unique prayers in worship.

With that in mind, it’s been really exciting to see our own new, original songs being written and curated in the last several months (and I hope you’ve felt this also).

These songs, and all the songs to come, are ours together.  Your encouragement, your voice, your heart for worship and your prayers are vital to making Mosaic Music into a thriving ministry.

And…I’m also excited that we’re blessed with highly skilled, heart-for-God, in-house filmmakers as well.

Some of them have been rallying to help Mosaic make live worship recordings that can be released to encourage others on platforms like YouTube.

At this moment, we’re in the unique position to have original songs that are ready to be shared on the one hand, and men and women who can capture the beauty of what Mosaic worship is all about on film on the other hand.

So…..we’re excited to be making at least two worship recordings with original music coming up on Saturday, July 31, from 5 – 8 pm…and we would like for you to be a part of it!

Specialized equipment, lighting, and crew will be paired with our existing resources in order to capture this moment in a high quality and beautiful format, and we have space for 75 people to participate in this on a first come, first serve basis.

While we had originally hoped to have a few more folks in the room, based on an updated understanding of what our set-up is, and what needs to be captured, 75 is our optimal number. This will be an unmasked atmosphere during filming, in case that helps you make a decision.

Our prayer is that these live worship recordings will be a blessing to not only Mosaic members but people from all around the world and that God will meet them right where they are as they worship with Mosaic.
