01 Apr Mosaic Church Fort Worth
Hopefully you were present in the room or online this past week, and you heard the exciting news:
Pastor Alvin and Mallary Brown are relocating to Fort Worth, Texas this summer to launch our first, non-Austin site, Mosaic Church Fort Worth.
Planting a church is something that has been in their hearts for the last several years, especially, and I have been thrilled to walk through the process with them!
They have been through the Every Nation Assessment Center, which takes a look at what decades of research have determined to be the sixteen building blocks of an effective church planter.
They have gone through the Every Nation Boot Camp, which looks to develop the initial skills needed to get a church up and going.
And most important of all, they have been through the last ten plus years with all of us, loving, serving, leading, sacrificing, growing and believing in what God is doing here.
While we will be sad to see them go, they are simply living out what God has been doing in the world, from Abraham in Genesis to 12, to what Jesus spoke to his disciples in Matthew 28, through the last 20 centuries of Christian history to today: to go into all the world and make disciples of all the nations.
I have no doubt they will be successful, and we want to help them get there!
Here’s how:
- Begin to, if you have not already, pray for them and the city of Fort Worth.
- If God would have you be a part of their launch team and potentially relocate, please contact Pastor Alvin or visit MosaicFortWorth.com.
- If there is someone you know in Forth Worth who might want to be a part of this, please share with them Mosaic Church Fort Worth’s launch team information.
- We will be receiving an offering for them on May 15, so please consider what you could do to make this as meaningful as possible for them, and for us! They are a part of us there!
God has been so good to us, so faithful to us, and this is just one more piece of evidence that something special is happening in our midst.
