mKids | WHAT’S HAPPENING IN MARCH!

What’s Happening in mKids!

I’m excited to be writing this newsletter for the first time since being announced as your Pastor of Children’s Ministry. With so much love shown to me over these past few weeks, I would like to thank our elder team, pastors, mKids staff and team members, and YOU for the support and care that you all have given and continue to give to me. The abundant blessing warms my heart and spirit. Once again, thank you!

I know that God has great things planned for our mKids, and TOGETHER we will experience His goodness in our lives and in this ministry.

See you on Sunday!

PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM

Our two units this month are, “THE BIG PICNIC” & “THE KING & THE KINGDOM”.

In The Big Picnic, kids will learn that no matter how big their problems are, God is bigger! They can trust God to take care of their problems with His big, strong power. We’ll look at the miracle Jesus performed when he turned one boy’s lunch into enough loaves and fishes to feed a huge crowd.

In The King & The Kingdom, kids will learn that Jesus is the best teacher because He teaches us how to live God’s way. When we obey Jesus, it’s like building a house on a super strong rock. Look in the Bible to find out what Jesus teaches!

The Big Picnic (March 6 & 13)
The King & The Kingdom (March 20 & 27)

5 & KINDER THROUGH 2ND GRADE CURRICULUM

Our upcoming lesson is, “DIVERSITY”.

God doesn’t play favorites. Everyone who chooses to follow Jesus is an important part of God’s family, the Church.

Every single part of the human body works together to keep the body working and healthy. The body of Jesus is the same way. It is made up of all different kinds of people. Each person has a special way to serve God and others that will keep the body healthy and sharing the love of Jesus with the whole world. We can appreciate the unique ideas, talents, abilities, struggles, and experiences each of our brothers and sisters have. When we come together, listen to each other, and respect each other, we can remember what is the same for all of us: Jesus loves us, we love Him, and He helps us love each other so we can share Jesus’ love with the world.

3RD THROUGH 5TH GRADE CURRICULUM

Our upcoming lesson is, “DURABLE FAITH”.

What kind of faith will last your whole life long? Durable faith! Durable faith lasts. It’s firm and sturdy. It doesn’t easily wear out, break down, or rot. Have fun in Loop with this three-week series that helps students form a faith that believes, trusts, and is active until the end.
