Happy Black History Month!
We know as the church and body of Christ that there is reason to celebrate African Americans as they overcome a traumatic history and experiences of oppression and step into more opportunities and achievements each day, as well as a legacy of life for future generations. In mKids, we strive to provide a safe and loving environment where we get to experience Jesus together! We pray for more of our black brothers and sisters to experience freedom from oppression each and every single day, and that their hearts, minds, bodies and spirits are treasured and cared for as image bearers and children of God.
For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! AMEN. (Ephesians 3:14-21)

Below is your overview of our upcoming Sunday lessons for all age/grade groups. If you would like to stay in step with the in-person curriculum, we invite you to watch both the lessons and worship using the links below.
PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM
Our two units this month are, “Journeys for Jesus” & “Dreams Come True”.
In our Journeys for Jesus unit, we will learn how Jesus tells all His friends to go into the whole world and preach God’s Good News. Everyone needs you to share Jesus with them, everywhere you go!
In Dreams Come True, we will study the life of Joseph with your little ones–from his imprisonment in Egypt to his God-given ability to interpret dreams!
5 & KINDER THROUGH 2ND GRADE CURRICULUM
Our upcoming lesson is, “Maturity”.
When you make Jesus the leader of your life, you become a baby all over again whether you’re a kid or an adult. Jesus makes us clean and new. He changes us from the inside out. But, like babies, our clean heart has to learn how to grow and mature. Being a baby is okay when you’re actually a baby. In fact, it’s pretty cute. But kids and adults who choose to start following Jesus need to mature and grow. It’s not okay to stay a baby in your heart.
Grow up for God, and be mature. Keep your heart healthy by learning about Jesus. Live like Him, every day, by turning your back on sin, whining, wrong thinking, selfish actions, and owning your own spiritual growth!
3RD THROUGH 5TH GRADE CURRICULUM
Our upcoming lesson is, “Drama (And How To Deal)”.
In this three-week series, we’ll talk about drama! No, not like movies and theater. Like relationship drama! Yes, we’re going there. But don’t worry—it’s going to be drama-free! During each week of Drama (And How To Deal), we’ll see how Colossians 3:13-14 offers us the path to peace when drama tries to bring division among friends, more-than-friends, and families.
