Below is your overview of our upcoming Sunday lessons for all age/grade groups.

PRESCHOOL CURRICULUM

Our preschool units this month are, “GOD’S GOOD NEWS” & “EVERYBODY’S WELCOME”!

In God’s Good News, kids will learn that the Bible is God’s true story. It tells us God made you and me to be His friends! Feed the Bible’s truth to your heart so you can learn from it. It will turn the lights on for your heart so you know who God is and what He’s done for you!

GOD’S GOOD NEWS (July 3rd & 10th)

God’s Church isn’t just a building where we learn about God. God’s Church is God’s family! Everybody is welcome in God’s family when they trust and follow Jesus. This lesson about Peter and the centurion Cornelius teaches your little ones that God has a special place for them in His Church! We all fit in God’s family.

EVERYBODY’S WELCOME (July 17th, 24th & 31st)

5 & KINDER THROUGH 2ND GRADE CURRICULUM

Our upcoming lessons are, “HOPE” & “SUPERNATURAL”.

When you have Hope, you believe the future can be better and that you have a role to play in making it better. While others can support us and help us stay focused on goals that lead to a better personal future, our best hope is anchored in Jesus—He is always good, and that never changes. When we choose to follow Him, He gives us a hope that is alive: He died for our sins but came back to life to give us a better eternity. Hope in Jesus is powerful and it comes with responsibility. Our hope in Jesus isn’t just for us. God’s plan is for us, as people of His Church, to spread the hope of Jesus to hurting people who need it.

When we choose to follow Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are invited to have our spiritual eyes opened to a supernatural world around us. There are daily miracles to be seen, we’re filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to live the way God intended, we look forward to our home yet to come in Heaven where we will see Jesus face to face, and we are equipped and protected in the spiritual battles between God’s good kingdom and the kingdom of evil as they rage around us. It’s a big, invisible world, too mind-blowing for our human brains to understand! We can learn about it from the Bible, but we will always have way more questions than answers. God is infinitely bigger, greater, and more wonderful than our human minds can understand. He made this entire universe, both physical and spiritual, and He’s in control.

3RD THROUGH 5TH GRADE CURRICULUM

Our upcoming lessons are, “WE BELONG TOGETHER” & “PRETTY GUTSY”.

In We Belong Together, we will be asking and answering… Why did God make us different? Why does God ask us to love one another equally? And what’s a great way to start a conversation with someone who’s outside my usual friendship circles? These are all questions your students will wrestle with as they learn that God designed us all different—but we all belong together! They’ll dive into Romans 12, which tells us that just as our physical bodies have many parts with many functions, so it is with Jesus’ followers. We are many parts of one body of Christ, and we all belong to each other!

It’s time to talk about courage! In Pretty Gutsy, students will explore Psalm 56:3-4 and will learn how to put their trust in God when they’re afraid. They’ll learn to live a gutsy life of taking courageous steps, having confidence, and boldly using their voice to speak up when they see something wrong happening. Students will courageously take risks as they live and love like Jesus.
