Burma (Myanmar) Missionary – Nun Hmung

Nun Hmung serves as the vice-president and principal of Myanmar Evangelical Bible College. Prior to starting MEBC, Nun served as an assistant pastor and as an evangelist. He holds a B.Th from Mark Buntain Bible College in India, an M.A.Th. from Logos Evangel Institute of Theology and Mission in Myanmar, and an M.A. in Christian Leadership from Gordon-Conwell-Theological Seminary in the USA. He has been happily married to Cherry Min for 24 years, and has two children: Joseph, 20, and Phoebe, 3.

The Mission

The goal of Myanmar Evangelical Bible College, and what Nun Hmung is working towards, is to transform communities throughout Myanmar by the restorative power of the Gospel through planting churches throughout Myanmar that will preach the love of Christ through both word and deed. To this end they equip Christians to be biblically literate and Holy Spirit filled church planters and pastors. Their training consists of of prayer, personal discipleship, and service to the poor in addition to classroom instruction and practical church ministry.

The Need

Your financial support helps provide living expenses for Nun and his family, resources for flood recovery to the people of Myanmar, and leadership training and development for future church planters.
