Lunch + Dinner + Real Talk

As you may know, there is a large community of singles at Mosaic, and arguably, it is our most diverse cross-section of people!

Austin is full of single people across all ages and stages, providing the church of Jesus with an enormous opportunity as well as a significant challenge.

What issues do singles, across the board, face?

How do they (we) process them?

Where do they (we) turn for help and connection?

While we can’t do everything, Mosaic can do, and does, lots of somethings to support and challenge singles to thrive in career and relationships.

Our next two somethings are coming up soon:

  • Lunch this Sunday at Bouldin Acres on Braker Lane at 1:00 pm
  • Real Talk on Friday, April 25

Real Talk is an evening of direct and raw conversation around a cultural flashpoint that affects singles, with a speaker, panelists, and table talk over dinner. It’s pretty much the best and most interesting way to spend a Friday night.

This Real Talk, we will be looking at the role that media and culture play in shaping our views on sex, and how we can move past classic “purity culture” thinking into a more Christ-centered freedom.

There will be an open and honest look at these subjects, along with great people and food. The cost is only $15, and we would encourage singles not only to attend but to invite a friend.

You won’t be bored.

Here’s the private link to register before Sunday!
I’m thankful for each of you, as we attempt to do multigenerational ministry together.
