15 Dec Holiday Schedule Reminder + Advent Devotionals
Hi everyone!
Just a quick reminder about our holiday schedule, in case you missed it….
But first, if you haven’t subscribed for our “12 Days of Hope” Advent Devotionals, it’s not too late. You can go ahead and subscribe here to get a daily text message link for all the remaining days leading up to Christmas. These are written by myself, Carrie and a group of writers and leaders here at Mosaic. I hope you are encouraged and blessed by them.
Our holiday (and slightly post-holiday) schedule is as follows:
1.) Our Christmas Eve Services are Sunday afternoon and evening: 3 pm, 4:30 pm, and 6 pm at Mosaic North and 4:30 pm at Mosaic South.
2.) Our December 31 services will be online only, broadcast at 9 am, 11 am and 12:30 pm.
3.) We will be back in person on January 7 at our normal service times of 9 am, 11 am, and 12:30 pm at Mosaic North and 11 am at Mosaic South.
4.) January 8-12 will be our annual week of prayer, fasting and consecration. It’s something we do with our global spiritual family in Every Nation, and such an important week in the life of our church.
I hope this helps you as you consider whom you may invite to attend with you on Christmas Eve or watch with on December 31. We are putting quite a lot of effort into both weekend’s services, and we can’t wait to share them with you and encounter the love of God together.
I pray you are encountering that love even in the middle of all you’re going through or carrying this year and Advent season.
This Christmas, we remember that Jesus was not born into a perfect, peaceful world, nor did He necessarily have an ideal start or upbringing. He came that we might have life, in His name, and be overcomers, and He meets us in the middle of our challenging time – just as He met the shepherds doing in the middle of a night shift, and as He met his parents trying to make a go of their lives under Roman rule.
Jesus does not always rescue us out of our pain, but He does promise to be in it with us, transform it, and He often uses it to change our lives and the world into a better place, one that is reflective of His “already but not yet/come in part but not in full” kingdom.
Blessings to you,
Morgan
