I hope your summer is off to a great start! As a community, there is quite a lot going on this summer, especially in terms of equipping.

I would hope that as the church of Jesus, we would always be pursuing growth in our lives for the sake of knowing Him better and serving others more. To that end, we are offering two different classes this summer aimed at helping us “GROW”, and they are:

1. Spiritual Gifts Discovery

Spiritual Gifts Discovery is a 10-week intensive dive into the gifts of the Holy Spirit available to us as the Body of Christ—gifts which will empower us to manifest the kingdom of God on the earth and to bring restoration in the lives of people both inside and outside the church. The course is designed for those who want to journey together as a community to learn about the gifts of the Spirit, to identify the unique ways that God has empowered each individually to impact others, and to put those gifts into practice. The class will include, among many other things, teaching and application on the “power gifts” of healing and prophecy recognizing the profound way God uses those gifts to restore lives as well as the many questions that arise surrounding proper use of those gifts in the church. If you feel that God has gifted you in some unique way in this area and is challenging you to cultivate it, or if you simply want to explore what God has made available to empower you for ministry to the world, this class is for you!

This class is on Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm and costs only $30.

Childcare is available for $45/child for the whole course. That is less than $5/child/class with discounts available for more than three children.

2. Bite Sized Bible

We know the Bible can be intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. We hope you’ll join us as we survey the New Testament this summer for four weeks during second service in Elevate. If you could use a little help putting all the pieces together, then the Bite Sized Bible class is for you!

This class will run June 18 – July 9, and is free of charge but be sure to register soon, as space is limited!
