23 Nov Gratitude For You

Hi everyone!
On behalf of our elder team, allow me to wish you a wonderful holiday this week, as we celebrate and give thanks to God for his gracious hand and abundant grace in our lives.
No matter who you are or what you are facing right this week, you have something, or likely many things, for which to be thankful. I know it can be tough sometimes to look up and try to be thankful in the midst of difficulty, but I want to propose to you that expressions of gratitude are exactly what you need in moments of difficulty—gratitude lifts us out of the moment, out of whatever crushing pressure we may feel, and acts like a kind of cleansing agent in our life.
I have learned this through trial and error in my walk with Jesus, and therefore I try to practice gratitude, especially at low moments, and many times I have found that low moment is transformed into a higher moment, a better moment.
Along with you, I am confident that we have much to be grateful for, and of all people, Christians ought to be ones marked by gratitude.
I pray that as you likely gather with friends and loved ones this week, you will be met in an overwhelming way by God’s grace and presence, and the experience of that would not only change your heart, but would move your hands to loving action and service in your family and community.
Thank you for being who you are to me and to Mosaic—thanks to you we have moved forward tremendously this year, and have surged past the halfway point on our building and facilities ask. Let’s complete this together this month!
God’s grace to you,
Morgan
