08 Sep Prayer Guide: Prayer Initiative Week 1
This Week’s Topic
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come,
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
-Matthew 6: 9-13 NKJV
Scriptural Focus
“Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name.”
Psalms 139:1-6
“O Lord , You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord , You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain it.”
