Because the main goal of our time together is to establish relationships and learn how to walk with one another in all that God has called us to be and do, we’d like to begin by praying for one another. So, does anyone have anything you’d like us to pray for, or anything to share regarding how you’ve seen God moving in your life that we can celebrate together.

How would you say the last two years have impacted our nation? Your life?
John 17:9-11
“I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one.”
Why do you think our nation seems so divided right now?
What does it mean to be united, or unified, with others? Give some examples.
Why do you suppose unity within the disciples was such a big deal to Jesus?
How does the name of Jesus enable us to overcome division and walk in unity with one another?
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
“So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
How have you felt weak, rejected or humiliated over the last two years?
How is the Christian view of weakness and humiliation different than the world’s view?
Why is weakness such a difficult thing for us to deal with or accept?
How does God’s love for you, and a desire for His glory, enable us to embrace our weakness and humiliation?
