Before We Get Started

Prayer
Because the main goal of our time together is to establish relationships and learn how to walk with one another in all that God has called us to be and do, we’d like to begin by praying for one another. So, does anyone have anything you’d like us to pray for, or anything to share regarding how you’ve seen God moving in your life that we can celebrate together.

This week we continue our series titled Abide as are joining hundreds of churches from around the world within our Every Nation family to take a look at what it means to abide in Christ and to let His Word abide in us. .

Whats the most inspiring story you’ve ever heard or maybe even been a part of?
John 15:8-9
“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.”
What does it mean to be great?
What is the difference between Jesus’ definition of greatness, and the world’s definition of greatness?
How might seeking to help others experience greatness enable us to achieve greatness ourselves as defined by Jesus?
John 15:10-11
“If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.”
What is the correlation between love and obedience?
Why is obedience toJesus difficult?

What does pruning do to a plant or vine?
