COVID-19 Care Team

Hello Mosaic Family!

As you have hopefully heard, Mosaic is putting together a response to the COVID-19 health crisis by creating a care team to meet the needs of our community as they arise.

This email will go into detail on 4 ways to get involved.

#1 – Join the Team

We have already had over 50 people fill out the Need Help/Give Help form letting us know they are willing and able to serve people in need. Amazing! However, with the anticipation of hundreds of people needing help in the coming weeks we need more people to join in the effort. To join the team simply click the button below.

Once you sign up for the team you will receive an email with our protocols and instructions on how we will be operating as a team.

#2 – Give

We have had a number of people ask how they can potentially give towards the COVID crisis.

To make a tax-deductible donation click the button below, and everything given here will go towards needs directly associated with the effects of the virus in our community.

Choose COVID-19 Care in the dropdown menu.

That being said, at some point, if the need becomes far greater than what we are currently experiencing, it is likely that we will be coming to you with a special, specific and more far-reaching financial ask.

#3 – Donate

We also need items to stock our distribution center. With many products unavailable or restricted in quantities at the stores we are hoping to provide a place for people to find the things they need during this time. We need the following items:

  • Canned goods (vegetables, fruit, beans)
  • Dry goods (rice, pasta, oatmeal, cereal)
  • Common staples (flour, sugar, cooking oils)
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Disinfectant wipes or spray
  • Children’s coloring books
  • Colored pencils, Crayons, Markers
  • Construction paper
  • Jump ropes
  • Sidewalk chalk
  • Board games
  • Decks of cards
  • Puzzles
  • Craft supplies (friendship bracelets, loom sets, etc.)
  • Educational Curriculums
  • Journals
  • Anything else you think would be useful during this time

If you have any of the above items you are willing to donate you can drop them off at:

Austin, TX 78759

#4 – Serve with Mosaic Street Ministry

Our Mosaic Street Ministry, though pausing on our truck runs, will still be serving our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness. This will happen on Sunday mornings. If you’d like to get involved, please email Leah Hargrave for more details.

Again, I want to remind you that we are in this together, and to be honest there is not another group of people I’d rather be in it with than my Mosaic Church family. I truly believe this can and will be our finest hour, and as we come out on the other side of this pandemic the name of Jesus will resound throughout our city. We love you and are praying for you.

In the hope, power, and love of Christ!

Brett Millican
