Celebrating Mosaic’s Next Generation

August is days away, and for many, this means the chapter of summer break is closing and new grade levels of school are beginning. On Sunday, August 13, mKids and Mosaic Students are promoting children to their 2023-2024 grade level in Sunday services.

While all kids may not be in a new class (mKids) or have a new service time (Mosaic Students), we’re celebrating them all! Continue reading for details and a church-wide invitation.

As we move into August, here’s what you can expect from our next-generation ministries:

  • At Mosaic North, mKids is available at 9 am, 11 am and 12:30 pm. At Mosaic South, mKids is available at 11 am.

You can see the class designations HERE if you have any questions about which class your child would attend.

  • Mosaic Students is available at 9 am and 11 am at Mosaic North’s Student Center.

The 9 am service is geared toward 6th – 8th-grade students, and 11 am is planned with 9th – 12th graders in mind. However, families can choose for their middle or high school child to attend either service.

  • On Sunday, August 13, Mosaic Students will have a unique schedule with an invitation to the whole church.

Over the past few months through Take to Give, the church contributed over $120,000 in support of our students to attend Every Nation Youth Camp in Glorieta, New Mexico. Over 120 students plus about 30 adults from Mosaic were able to attend camp surrounded by over 700 total campers and leaders.

The theme of camp was based on 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” 18 Mosaic Students accepted the call to be water baptized during camp, and many lives were changed. Our students have camp stories to share!

Hear from our students on Promotion Sunday at the BEST.BREAKFAST.EVER. Join in the Mosaic Student Center on Sunday, August 13 from 10:30 am to 12:20 pm. Breakfast will be served, and our students will share about the impact of camp on their lives. We’re excited to invite you in to listen!

  • We’re welcoming rising sixth graders to Mosaic Students!

Students going into sixth grade only will meet at the 9 am service time on Sunday, August 13 in the Student Center. All other students are asked to attend at 10:30 for the BEST.BREAKFAST.EVER. Following Sundays will operate on the normal schedule.

Thank you for being a generous church that responds to the call to celebrate and support the next generation!
