A Few Updates

Three things, quickly:

  1. In case you missed it last Sunday, we gave an update on our Take to Give offering, our special offering to send 140 students and counselors on three buses (all a record!) to New Mexico for our annual Every Nation Youth Camp. Our faith goal was $80,000, but we went way past that and received more than $120,000. This is incredible.

Thank you so, so much for praying and believing for this. The amount of love, support, trust and goodwill from around the Mosaic community for this has been nothing short of remarkable. I’m thankful to be in a church that believes in the next generation so much. The additional monies received will allow us to make up for some overages from last year and create a starter kit of finances for next year!

  2. This past week we opened registration for our upcoming Men’s Retreat, which will be August 24-26, 2023 at Camp Tejas in Giddings, Texas. Our theme is simply, “Renewed”, and we will be, in addition to all the amazing activities and amenities the camp provides, believing for all our lives and hearts to be renewed from whatever challenges we may have faced recently or been carrying from the past few years. Ministering and teaching out of 2 Corinthians 4:16-20 is our focus. We will be joining with a number of other Every Nation churches from around the region. Register early for a discount, and your sons ages 14 and up are welcome to attend!

The Women’s Retreat is coming September 21-23, will be based around the same theme. Registration for it will open a little bit later, so go ahead and save the date!
  3. Thanks to everyone who made KIDCON amazing! I believe we had more than 180 kids registered and more than 70 adult volunteers plus Mosaic staff in the thick of it, teaching, loving, caring for, and worshiping with our children over the course of last weekend.
Read more about the Illuminate theme and check out the awesome playlist our kids worshiped to at MosaicKIDCON.com.

God is so good, and He is so faithful in our community.

I’m glad to be a part of it with you, as we continue this Sunday in our series in the book of Ephesians, “Coming Soon to a City Near You.”

Much love,

Morgan
