25 May Ten Things I Love About Mosaic Church

I was praying for you and for us this week, and such a deep well of gratitude emerged in my heart for what God has done here, and out of the overflow of that, I wanted to communicate to you and commend you for things that I feel are a part of who we are together, and what God has done here. Here are, not in any particular order, Ten Things I Love About Mosaic Church.

1. We are a people who are not afraid to do hard things.

2. We value unity and know that where there is unity, God commands a blessing (Psalm 133).

3. We don’t have to be right about everything all the time; only God is infallible.

4. We know Jesus is the one who is the head of the church, and who holds us together.

5. We know that it is God’s good purpose for us to be here; without His help and intervention, we would not be here today.

6. We love to worship and sing praise to our God—some of us even do this at high levels of volume!

7. We love excellence, because it points people to Jesus (2 Peter 1).

8. We know that humble service is the pathway to greatness.

9. We have come to understand that life is better in community with others.

10. We believe that Jesus sees us, knows us and is for us, no matter what happens or doesn’t happen.

I’m sure there are many more that I could list, but these 10 came to mind rather easily.

God’s grace to you this holiday weekend, and I’ll see you this Sunday as we continue our look at the life of Joseph in the month of May, hear an exciting update about one of our partnerships in the community, and get to hear a fantastic, Mosaic-style arrangement of a new song in our time in worship.
