The Gift from Texas Oaks Baptist Church
In May 2022, Pastor Morgan received a voicemail message that said:
Howdy. My name is James Torrey and I’m the pastor of Texas Oaks Baptist Church down in South Austin. I’ve been a bi-vocational pastor for about fourteen years, but I’m thinking about stepping down soon. I was wondering if Mosaic Church, who seems to be aligned with some of our mission, would be interested in potentially having a south location.

In-person services are held on Sundays at 11 am beginning November 6, 2022.

On Sundays during service, mKids is available for 6 weeks to 5th grade.
Mosaic Students, ministry for middle and high school students, is available at Mosaic North during 9 am and 11 am services but also hosts a number of events on Sunday evenings.
Morgan Stephens is the lead pastor for both Mosaic Church South Austin and Mosaic Church North Austin. Mosaic’s staff serves both locations.
Mosaic South will have a mostly live teaching team comprised of Lead Pastor Morgan Stephens, Pastor of Discipleship Brett Millican, Deacon Dr. Terrance Green, and other communicators.
The soft launch of Mosaic South will be Sunday, November 6, 2022.
We are aiming for the grand opening, publicized to the community at large, in April 2023.

Solid Ground is a ministry to the homeless hosting block parties every second Saturday of the month from 10 am to 1 pm at Mosaic Church South Austin. Get more details on the Solid Ground website.
