Austin Missionaries – Bria Lacour | Every Nation Campus

A Message from Bria:
At the University of Texas Campus at Austin (UT), my life was completely transformed by the power of the Gospel and the compelling love of Jesus. Since that moment, my life has been a testament to God’s grace and provision, and I have a strong desire to offer the same wonderful gift to other college students and see lives forever changed.

Since 2015, I have been serving through Every Nation Campus as a student and in 2016 I graduated and began my journey to become a full-time campus missionary on the UT campus. My campus has over 50,000 students, including over 5,000 international students from 125 different nations that will go on to be the world changers in every field.

I have a huge heart and passion for seeing young women realize their true value and identity in Christ through discipleship. Seeing students being changed by the Gospel and a relationship with Jesus, share the Gospel with their family and friends, reach other nations on a mission, and make more disciples reminds me of how important the Great Commission really is.

The adventure has only begun and, as we say here at UT, what starts here truly does change the world.

Austin Missionaries – Peter Dusan | Every Nation Campus

A Message from Peter:

Despite growing up in a religious home in Central Oregon, I didn’t have a personal relationship with God; I was just a regular sinner-kid. But, that all changed when I encountered Jesus through a student-led movement in my high school. Through that campus ministry, I began a relationship with Jesus.

After receiving a degree in Spanish from Texas State University in 2004, I went to work for Every Nation in 2005, helping to plant a campus ministry at my alma mater in San Marcos. I served as the southwest regional coordinator for Every Nation Campus from 2008 until 2015.

I also helped plant The Springs church on the Texas State campus in 2008 and served as the church’s lead pastor from 2009 to 2020.

In October 2020, I became the first member of our national evangelism team and now serve as the Southwest Regional Evangelist, serving also in Latin America. I serve to energize existing campus chapters and churches and help to break open new doors for new churches and campus ministries.

I am for the campus and for the nations! Let’s go!

Austin Missionaries – McKayla Hunter | Every Nation Campus

A message from McKayla:

My journey with Jesus has been quite an adventure. I grew up in the church but didn’t genuinely know Jesus until I was thirteen, and that was all because I was connected to a wonderful youth group. I encountered a life-changing moment with the Lord at an Every Nation Youth summer camp, and my life has never been the same.

After graduating high school, I went to Texas Bible Institute, specializing in the study of student ministries. We believe in reaching the next generation by engaging students on their campus with the Gospel, establishing a biblical foundation through discipleship, and equipping and empowering them to lead.

I have already seen the fruit produced in our youth students learning to have a relationship with Jesus and to follow Him. I’ve also seen the fruit of our campus ministry which provides guidance, stability, and community during students’ college years.

Together, we can effectively transform the lives of the next generation—our future leaders. Together, we can renew the city of Austin to be filled with people who know, trust, and follow Jesus.

I can’t wait to see what else God will accomplish as we serve Him!

The Mission

College students have the potential and the responsibility to impact the world around them, no matter what degree they choose. If we want to change the world, we should start on the campus. Campus ministry is a dedication to take the gospel to college students, right where they are on campus. It’s a calling to serve, to impact, to go.

In the context of the local church, your spiritual life is developed further than if you were on your own. Every Nation Campus has chapters at over 100 universities in the United States and in over 80 countries around the world—each one connected to a local church. Full-time campus missionaries around the world evangelize and disciple students, advancing God’s kingdom on the university campus.

The Need

Your financial support provides the salary these missionaries receive throughout the year. It is through your partnership that the ENC missionaries are able to pay for their housing, food, clothing, etc. This support allows them to focus their time on the mission of campus ministry and spend their days on the college campus meeting and working with students to help them in their discipleship journey.
