Transition.
Upgrade.
Exchange.
All these words could be used to describe what happens to a person when they meet God.
But the apostle Paul didn’t use a word as much as a phrase to describe it.
He put it like this:
You are…
no longer.
What are we no longer?
Slaves.
Slaves to fear, doubt, lust, greed, pride, religion or insecurity.
What have we been upgraded, transition, changed into?
Galatians 4 tells us:
Sons.
Daughters.
Children of God.
And heirs of heaven.
So, what does that mean for us? How does that look in our lives today?
