Matt was first a missionary to the University of Houston from 1995-2003 with Every Nation Campus Ministries. From 2005 to present Matt and his wife Christy and their 4 children have done ministry work among young people and families in Austria, Germany, Hungary, and now France. They partner together with Every Nation Ministries and Horizon Famille d’Eglises as church planters and missionaries.
The mission Matt and Christy feel God has called them to pursue is to see myriads of people from America, North Africa, Europe, and the French-speaking world becoming disciples of Jesus Christ, being trained in Christian leadership, and being empowered to bring not only the message of the gospel to their nations, but also provide basic needs for the people to whom they are called. This vision is accomplished as they make disciples, train leaders, and empower people in their God-given destinies.
Matt is the President of Paragon Ministries, the organization through which their church planting takes place. Matt and Christy also currently pastor a growing, vibrant, and culture-shaping church in Marseille, France.
