For the Love…of mKids!

In all the midst of all the excitement about the opening of our Mosaic Student Center (located across our parking lot on Jekel Circle), I don’t want us to miss the really great, simultaneous massive (and crucial) upgrade to our children’s ministry facilities, which is a big win for all our kids and families…

…and that is, because we opened the new room and moved our teens across the street, the “artist formerly known as” Elevate has become our new mKids Worship Center!

In effect, in making the new youth room possible, we got “two for the price of one”: not just a new youth space, but a new fully furnished, super cool, already supplied room for our kids to worship in (this is in addition to all the improvements we were already able to make this spring because of your giving last fall).

Vanessa Maleare, our mKids Director, and her team, made great use of their first Sunday in there last week with what they called “A Jesus Party”, and from the look of this video, I’d say they got it right!

And that was one of three times they did that! So, hats off to all our team members who helped make that moment possible, and who make moments like that possible week in and week out.

I’d also like to give a big shout out to all our mKids Summer Rotation teachers—thank you so much for all your service and leadership in the lives of the next generation!

As we begin our fall rotation, I’d like to make you aware of a great opportunity: we have a few spots still left open for classroom teachers. If you would like to be a part of a great team, get to know people at Mosaic, and most importantly, have the opportunity to make a huge impact in the lives of some great kids, we want to hear from you. Please click on this link and take a minute to fill out this form.

Don’t worry about what you think you know or don’t know—we will “help you help them”, and give you all you need to be a big success!

Thank you!

I’ll see you this Sunday as we continue our look at the Love of God in the Gospel of John.

Morgan

P.S. Stay tuned for details about our upcoming “For the Love” campaign!
