If you missed the announcement a couple of weeks ago, let me invite you to something coming up next year that I am particularly excited about: the 2019 Every Nation World Conference.

Every Nation is a global spiritual family and movement of churches that Mosaic is a member of, and exists to plant Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, socially responsible churches and campus ministries in every nation and on every university campus.

The World Conference, held every three years at some place around the world (in previous years it has been in Cape Town, South Africa and Manila, Philippines, for example) is going to be in Orlando, Florida, next summer, July 15-19.

Many of our staff and leaders will be going to this, and these conferences are massively encouraging times of vision (you get to see what global Christianity looks like, with Christians and leaders from every part of the globe. Well, except for Antarctica!), inspiration (great and diverse speakers) and equipping (there are lots of breakout sessions for pastors, missionaries and business leaders alike).

Plus, built into the conference schedule is time to explore Orlando and visit all the theme parks in the area. Carrie and I and our kids have been to many of these conferences in years past, and they have really marked our family—through the children’s and youth ministries God has spoken precious things to them while they engage and learn sitting side-by-side with children from around the world.

We come out, each time, more encouraged by what God is doing in His church and better global and kingdom citizens for having gone. Plus, it’s just a whole lot of fun!

There is definitely some expense to it, but if you are considering going, now is the time to plan and budget accordingly—July 2019 will be here before you know it. It’s a great time for singles and families alike.
