It’s that special time of the year again…
Project Christmas!

Project Christmas is a loving & strategic way for us to make a big impact in our city and with some of our ministry partners…and YOU have a part to play! Together, we get to spread joy and Christmas cheer while making a difference across our city and the world!

We have the opportunity to provide for the homeless community through Mosaic Street Ministry, show our appreciation for local healthcare heroes, love on kids in tough situations at Live Oak Elementary and Deerpark Middle School, and meet the needs of our at-risk children and house moms at Casa Vallado Children’s Home in Mexico.

HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?

Watch the video and review more details regarding our ministry partners below.

Ask God to lead your heart towards doing one, or both, of the following:

GIVE FINANCIALLY to one (or more) of our ministries

GIVE A GIFT BOX for children in need at Live Oak Elementary or Deerpark Middle School

OUR MINISTRY PARTNERS

Mosaic Street Ministry

Mosaic Street Ministry aspires to love the forgotten, see the unseen, and bring hope to the streets of Austin by serving the homeless community. Whether it’s through our Sunday Morning Care Team providing breakfast, clothing, and prayer or through the pastoral care of our Community Group, Mosaic Street Ministry aims to meet both physical needs, develop friendships, and connect people to a faith-based community by modeling the love of Christ. Donations will assist in providing essential services such as food, clothing, and more.

Live Oak Elementary & Deerpark Middle School

At Mosaic, we partner with schools in our local community like Live Oak Elementary by providing 1-on-1 mentoring, teacher breakfasts, school supplies, and more throughout the year. A financial gift given to Live Oak will help continue our efforts to show the children the love of Christ and the school administration our deep appreciation for all they do to impact and love on students often in tough family or financial situations.

Healthcare Workers

It’s no secret that during this season, healthcare workers have been more crucial to our wellness and safety than ever before. Recently we’ve had the opportunity to serve the healthcare community in a meaningful way by providing meals to nurses at local hospitals and to provide tangible items like face masks when needed. We would love to do something similar again to show our continued support of those who risk themselves for our wellbeing and your gift would go directly to fund that effort.

The Vallado Project

The Vallado Project provides financial & relational support to organizations caring for and educating vulnerable and at-risk children. Donations will be used to help meet the needs of the children and house moms at Casa Vallado children’s home in Mexico. Casa Vallado helps keep at-risk children off the street, gives them a safe place to call home, and also provides the love, nurture, and education needed for a successful future. Casa Vallado is funded solely by gifts and donations that pay for housing, food, clothing, education, administration, and medical expenses.

GIVE FINANCIALLY

One way to participate in Project Christmas is by giving financially. Whether that number is $100, $50, or $25, no amount is too big or small!

Click below to make a donation to either Mosaic Street Ministry, Live Oak Elementary, Healthcare Workers, or The Vallado Project from the dropdown menu and enter the amount you feel lead to give.

GIVE A GIFT BOX

Another way you can show love and support for local youth in need is by filling a box with fun gifts, personal care items, and clothing. Live Oak Elementary and Deerpark Middle School provides us with a list of students that could benefit from a gift box during the Christmas season.

Sign up for a child in need, and get the details regarding what to pack plus when & where to drop off your completed box. It’s incredible to see how God works through the generosity, love, and prayer that goes into these boxes every year!

Community Groups

Community groups are where we seek to live out the Gospel in relationship with others within a smaller community context.
