11 Nov Mosaic South Campus Launch
I’m happy to announce that the soft launch of Mosaic South campus not only happened but went extraordinarily well (at least I think so)!
Despite not having our permanent flooring, and even without a permanent sound system, and while we had only a wooden stage with tastefully-appointed rugs, God was honored, and a new church was launched.
While we have a ton to do over the next months, in anticipation of something much more finalized and stabilized, it was so exciting to “airdrop” them into Live Big Sunday, which is a culturally defining moment for us every year. There were smiles on faces, and there were even first-time guests from the surrounding neighborhoods who had already seen the sign out front or been invited by some of our own members.
We had 165 people total our first week, which was incredible–even while maybe 20% of that were people from our north campus. It was a great start and so encouraging.
I want to take a moment in this email and honor our staff team at Mosaic. They have been working incredibly hard over the past few months to make this past Sunday happen, even in the middle of doing a Singles Conference, the Fall Fest and hosting a mini-Every Nation conference for 125 pastors and leaders from Texas, New Mexico and Mexico who attended.
As far as I’m concerned, we have the best church staff in the world, and I am honored to work with each of their talented selves and humble hearts.
And, circling back to Live Big, we dropped off the check yesterday at The Source, our recipient this year. I can’t wait to show you that moment and talk about why it was so special.
Mosaic…thank you.

Blessings to you, and I will see you Sunday!
