Why Launch a Church Plant?
We are dedicated to planting, or starting, churches that are Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered and socially responsible. To date, members of Mosaic have been sent from the Austin congregation to launch new churches in Irvine, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; Indianapolis, IN; Austin, TX; San Marcos, TX; and San Antonio, TX.
Mosaic joins with Every Nation, a global family of churches, on a mission to establish churches worldwide to make disciples of Jesus Christ locally.

Alvin and Mallary Brown will lead Mosaic Church Fort Worth
Married since May 2010, Alvin, as a technology manager, and Mallary, the director of operations and finance, met as coworkers in the marketplace. The Browns and their three kids, Ian, Seth and Mila, are looking forward to the new opportunities in Fort Worth through Mosaic Church Fort Worth.
Members of Mosaic Church Austin since 2009, Alvin and Mallary have served in various pastoral and leadership capacities at the central Texas campus for over a decade including executive pastor, guest experience, digital ministry, technology, Mosaic Communities and mKids.
It became clear that God was calling them to pursue new ministry opportunities in 2019, and by 2021 it was confirmed to the Browns that Fort Worth was the city God’s heart was effectively calling them to serve. This new direction was welcomed with earnest hearts for God’s will and work to be done and with prayers of anticipation for the people who will be reached.
Believing that deeper learning precedes effective service to others, they have explored business ventures together, attended conferences, and taken courses together to enrich their knowledge and enhance their ministry. This includes training in GoStrategic’s two-year biblical principles of economics and business practices, and Every Nation’s two-year theological foundations and leadership development course.
With an intentional pursuit of biblical, business, servant and relational knowledge, the Browns ultimately lean to God for wisdom along this journey of being called to launch Mosaic Church Fort Worth!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The tentative launch date for Mosaic Church Fort Worth to gather for in-person services is September 2023.
Prior to the launch date, we invite you to join and gather with us as a community group. If you’re a college student or college-age, then connect and join the group for campus ministry nights.
Currently, Mosaic Church Fort Worth is meeting virtually as a community group via Zoom.
Please direct your one-time or recurring giving to Mosaic Church Fort Worth using the online option.
Tentatively, Alvin, Mallary, and kids will relocate from Austin to Fort Worth on August 1, 2022.
We’re glad you’re ready to take the next steps. So, mark your calendar and plan to attend our next Interest Social Meeting from 1 pm – 3 pm on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Registration will be required to attend and will be listed on Mosaic’s Events page by May 28th.
