As a Christ-follower and healing professional, I use my training, experiences and the Holy Spirit to bring forth well-being and emotional and mental wholeness for clients.
I collaborate with my clients to facilitate, guide and encourage truth-seeking, acceptance and authentic change. Through sessions, I will encourage discussion and deeper thinking while I translate concepts into practical application. As I focus on the why and the how of a client’s story, I look for gaps in knowledge or application so that we can build a bridge to facilitate successful change.
Over the past 30 years, I have worked on issues of racial trauma and reconciliation, domestic and sexual violence, law enforcement’s response to victims, veteran trauma, and marriage and family matters including infidelity, depression, anxiety, communication and parenting.I spent nine years working for Veteran Affairs as a couple/marriage therapist.
If you are in a hard place, I will walk with you as we discover, explore, uncover and make sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviors so that you can begin to create a life that is affirming, generous, and connected.
