03 May Mosaic Day at the Park
I am still in awe of the incredible response we had last weekend, with a number of people who gave their lives to Christ, and others who have come to Christ recently be water baptized. If you missed Sunday, you should know we had 17 people who were baptized across our four services. It was such a powerful moment, and honestly, as I said at the end of the fourth service, last Sunday may have been my favorite Sunday ever at Mosaic, and for sure my favorite one in a long time – it was really that special.
In light of last weekend, it’s important to point out that we have such an amazing community, and I wanted to follow up with a special invitation to hang out with your church family at the upcoming Mosaic Day at the Park, which has formerly been introduced as the Mosaic Olympics. For a number of reasons, we are switching up the format, and wanted to let you know this is a true Church Family Day at the Park.
We will have games, big inflatables for the kids and adults, cook out goodness happening, and lots more at Kathryn Fleischer Park in North Austin on May 11, from 10-2.
This is a great event to make new friends and to catch up with old friends, and every year we have such a great time laughing, playing together, and enjoying one another’s company. As always, feel free to invite friends and neighbors – it will be super relaxed and lots of fun.
All we ask is that you bring a side to share, and we will bring the meats to cook and the waters to drink. You may or may not need to BYOS (sunscreen, that is, for those of us who need it. Which is me and my family!).
Much love and hope to see you there next Saturday!
